Arman Tsarukyan didn’t get the early takedown he was looking for tonight at UFC Fight Night 192, with Christos Giagos landing one instead, but nonetheless, he soon got the fight back to the feet and delivered a big TKO finish.
Round One:
Tsarukyan putting pressure on immediately. He lets a few punches go. Tsarukyan ducks under a punch and goes for the takedown, but Giagos does really well to stay strong and end up countering the takedown with one of his own that’s successful.
However, Tsarukyan manages to use the cage to work his way back to his feet with Giagos still in the clinch.
Tsarukyan able to break free quickly though. Head kick attempt from him. Body kick from Giagos, but then Tsarukyan lands a well placed left hook that sends him reeling backwards to the canvas.
Tsarukyan swarms on him with more heavy punches and soon secures a big TKO victory at the 2.09min mark, adding another string to the bow of this highly-rated talent who is better known for his dominant wrestling.
