There’s great news for subscribers to ESPN+ as it’s now been confirmed that the upcoming UFC 267 event on October 30th will be aired for free, meaning they won’t have to shell out the usual $69.99 pay-per-view fee.
The reason for this unusual situation is that the event will be aired live from Fight Island, Abu Dhabi at a much earlier start time than usual, with the prelims starting at 11am ET and the main card going live at 2pm ET to cater to the audience in that region of the world.
Those who tune in to the early card will be treated to two title fights, with light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz fighting Glover Teixeira in the main event, while a recently arranged interim bantamweight title bout between Petr Yan and Cory Sandhagen takes the co-main event spot.
In addition to that the main card will also feature the likes of Islam Makhachev vs. Dan Hooker, Alexander Volkov vs. Marcin Tybura and Magomed Ankalaev vs. Volkan Oezdemir.
So, while the event doesn’t necessarily have the biggest draws on it, it is certainly a pay-per-view worthy line-up and will be a well-earned treat for those who do frequently pay a lot of money to watch the UFC’s biggest events over the course of the year.
