Following yesterday’s UFC Fight Night 208 event in London, England the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
One of the biggest stars of the show, Paddy Pimblett secured a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he was able to fend off Jordan Leavitt’s early attempts to outgrapple him and then turned the screw in the second round when he sunk in a fight-ending rear-naked choke submission.
Pimblett’s teammate and fellow fan-favorite Molly McCann also delivered in spades with a first round TKO victory over Hannah Goldy, with a spinning elbow and big punches behind it sending the London crowd into raptures.
Nikita Krylov also pocketed a performance bonus for his first round destruction of Alexander Gustafsson, dropping him almost immediately with an overhand right, and soon afterwards punished the veteran for grabbing hold of a body kick by landing a short left that floored him again, with follow-up ground-and-pound sealing a 67 second KO victory.
Jonathan Pearce was the final bonus winner on this occasion, using big ground-and-pound to seal a second round TKO finish against Makwan Amirkhani.
