1. Donald Cerrone– The reason the co main event has so much intrigue is both guys have a lot riding on the line. Having lost one contenders match already to Nate Diaz and a lose to current champ Anthony Pettis, Cowboy has to win at all costs. If he does not beat Alvarez the word perennial contender will permanently precede his name. Two loses to former champ Benson Henderson will not help his case either. It would be pretty upsetting if a thrill seeker like himself starts to develop a reputation for chocking when it matters most. If he wants championship level status, and not gatekeeper status, a victory must be delivered.
