At the end of the day Diaz has the big fight that he wanted to come back to, and if he wants to get paid like he believes he deserves, he’s going to have to beat one of the toughest lightweights in the world in dos Anjos.
With a long layoff and his thoughts more focused on making money than winning actual fights, Diaz has his work cut out for him. If he beats “RDA,” some big paydays will certainly come his way. Until then, however, it’s time for him to focus on his fighting skills rather than his back-and-forth battle with the UFC.
