ONE FC is Going to China!!!

It’s official, ladies and gents. ONE FC has busted through the bamboo curtain and is only a month away from holding a card in mainland China. The event, known as DYNASY OF CHAMPIONS, will take place on Halloween (October 31) in Beijing and could be held at Beijing National Stadium – the home of the 2008 Summer Olympics.

The event not only marks ONE FC’s first trip to the world’s most populous country, but establishes the young, Singaporean promotion as the first global, mixed martial arts company to put on a show in mainland China.

This is no small feat, and anyone who needs proof has to remember that even the UFC has been unable to plant its flag in the PRC. Granted, the MMA giant has gotten close, holding events in Macau (which is a special administrative unit and therefore not part of the mainland), but it has never been able to hold a show in China itself.

No matches have been announced for DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS yet, but Fight of the Night will keep you posted on this exciting development.
