Quite possibly the most stacked fight card in UFC history is almost upon us, with UFC 205 set to take place this Saturday, November 12th at Madison Square Garden in New York City, and we’ve got the full line-up for you below.
In the main event of the evening featherweight champion Conor McGregor will battle for the lightweight title against current champion Eddie Alvarez, vying to become the first UFC fighter to hold two belts simultaneously.
There’s more title action in the co-main event as welterweight champion Tyron Woodley attempts to make his first defense of the belt against the high-flying Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson.
Remarkably, there will be a third title fight on the night, with woman’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk poised to fight fellow Polish striker Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
Former middleweight champion Chris Weidman is back in action against Yoel Romero in a bout that could have potential title implications at 185lbs.
Donald Cerrone looks to continue his impressive run at welterweight when he squares up to top 5 contender Kelvin Gastelum.
And opening up the specially extended 6 fight main card will be former woman’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate in a fight with the in-form Raquel Pennington.
That’s not all though as the FOX Sports 1 preliminary card is also a star-studded affair, led by former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar going up against Jeremy Stephens at 145lbs.
Lightweight No.1 contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is also on-board fighting the No.6 ranked Michael Johnson.
Also, former light-heavyweight champion Rashad Evans drops down to middleweight for the first time to go to war with Tim Kennedy, who returns to action for the first time in two years for this historic night in the UFC’s history.
