UFC On Fuel TV 2: Fight Card

You’ve waited long enough people – this weekend sees the end of a long drought as far as UFC events goes. After a six week break the UFC returns on Saturday night with ‘UFC On Fuel TV 2’ which will see them travel to Sweden for the first time ever in the promotion’s history.

Headlining the show will be Swedish hometown hero and current mover and shaker in the light-heavyweight division Alexander Gustafsson who aims to improve his current four-fight winning streak against the Brazilian Thiago Silva who returns after serving a steroid suspension.

The co-main event slot features a middleweight contest as a Brian Stann looking to rebound from his loss to Chael Sonnen when he takes on Alessio Sakara.

Meanwhile Paulo Thiago will roll out the welterweight welcome mat for Siyar Bahadurzada who’ll makes his UFC debut after a six fight unbeaten run fighting in Europe and Brazil.

Germany’s Dennis Siver moves down to featherweight for the first time on Fuel TV and he’s immediately thrown into a tough match-up with Brazil’s Diego Nunes.

Former TUF: US VS UK finalist Demarques Johnson will be in familiar territory when he takes on another fighter from the UK, John Maguire, and finally there’s a bonus sixth fight on the main card which should be a cracker as Brad Pickett scraps with Damacio Page in the bantamweight division.
