Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Vs Fabricio Werdum To Headline UFC On Fuel TV 10

A heavyweight clash between Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum will headline ‘UFC On Fuel TV 10’ on June 8th in Fortaleza, Brazil.

‘Big Nog’ and Werdum have known for some time that they were going to be fighting as they are also serving as coaches on the second edition of the TUF: Brazil show which begins broadcasting on Globo on March 17th and should also be available for the rest of the world to view online.

Nogueira fought just once in the past year after more injury setbacks, earning a win over Dave Herman by submission in October. His form overall during the last few years has been turbulent though with three wins and three losses.

Meanwhile, Werdum’s second spell in the UFC has gone well so far, picking up wins over Roy Nelson and Mike Russow so far, and a win over ‘Big Nog’ would put him in a strong footing in the division.

‘UFC On Fuel TV 10’ is expected to be the landing spot for the finals of TUF: Brazil 2, but there’s also some other meaningful fights being scheduled for the card including Erick Silva Vs John Hathaway and Thiago Silva Vs Rafael ‘Feijao’ Cavalcante.
