Originally rumored for the ‘UFC On FOX Sports 1’ event on August 17th, a lightweight title fight between Ben Henderson and TJ Grant will instead now headline UFC 164 a couple of week’s later.

Henderson is currently on a seven fight winning streak since joining the UFC and is hoping to make the fourth successful defence of his belt at the event in Wisconsin.

Grant has other plans though and he’s risen out-of-the-blue to become one of the division’s most impressive performers lately, racking up five wins since moving down to lightweight, including a ‘Fight Of The Night’ victory over Evan Dunham followed by impressive KO’s of both Matt Wiman and Gray Maynard.

So, UFC 164 is now finally shaping up with Henderson and Grant in the main event spot, while Frank Mir Vs Josh Barnett serves as the evening’s co-main event.
