Chad Mendes Has Been Charged Over Recent Bar-Room Brawl Incident

UFC flyweight star Chad ‘Money’ Mendes will be charged with battery after a recent incident at a bar in his home town of Hanford, California.

Mendes is alleged to have ignored police officals warnings to leave the scene of a bar-room brawl at the Lacey Inn Bar on July 29th and then proceeded to punch a customer before fleeing.

If convicted when the case is heard on September 19th, the ‘Team Alpha Male’ member faces the potential for up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Mendes is coming off a knockout win over Cody McKenzie in July in his first fight since losing a 145lb title fight with Jose Aldo at the start of the year.
