Cory Sandhagen unleashed an absolutely devastating flying knee KO on Frankie Edgar in the co-main event of UFC Fight night 194 tonight in las Vegas.
Round One:
Edgar takes the center of the Octagon. He lands a leg kick. Jab for Sandhagen. One-two from Edgar.
Huge jumping knee from Sandhagen and it catches Edgar clean as he’s moving in and knocks him out cold! Edgar is stiff as a board as he falls head first to the canvas.
Absolutely brutal knockout from Sandhagen and Edgar is so highly respected that there’s an uneasy silence afterwards as he lies unconscious. A very tough loss for him, but what a win for Sanhagen as he puts a stamp on his push for a title shot.
Thankfully Edgar does come too and is able to get to his feet for the result being called, with Sandhagen’s KO win coming 28 seconds into the first round.
