Tearful Ronda Rousey Consoled By Dana White For 45 Minutes After UFC 207

Ronda Rousey spent 45 minutes in UFC President Dana White’s embrace after her devastating 48 second loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 on Friday night.

The two have always had a close relationship since she successfully made a pitch to him several years ago that resulted in White agreeing to finally bring woman’s MMA into the UFC, and never has it been more evident than in the aftermath of this past weekend’s blockbuster show.

“I must have tears, blood and boogers all over my f—ing jacket,” White told ESPN. “I went in there and hugged her for 45 minutes. I told her, ‘I love you so much, and whatever you want to do next, I got your back. You built this. This doesn’t exist without you. You’re the best decision I ever made.'”

Rousey wasn’t the only person shedding bucketloads of teas on the nights as White claims that for the first time in his career, as he walked through the arena to go backstage he saw fans getting emotional about the superstar’s brutal beatdown.

“I walked out of the arena and people were crying, men and women,” White claimed. “She has been an amazing role model and amazing partner, an amazing friend.”
