The fighter’s on the latest edition of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series weren’t messing around last night in Las Vegas as finishes via strikes were seen in all four of the fights on the card, and that led to each being awarded a UFC contract for their efforts.
That included a KO finish for Carlos Ulberg in the main event against Bruno Oliveira barely two minutes into the bout with a couple of big left hooks.
Ignacio bahamondes was also doing big things in the co-main event, knocking out Edson Gomez in highlight reel fashion with a head kick mid-way through the second round.
Luis Saldana was the only winner on the night to see the third round, but just 44 seconds into it he finished Vince Murdock, connecting with two front kicks and then sealing the deal via TKO with follow-up strikes.
Jared Vanderaa had earlier set the pace for the evening when he stopped Harry Hunsucker via a ground and pound TKO in the opening round.
