Dana White Shuts Down Talk Of Ronda Rousey Competing In WWE

Ronda Rousey recently stated that there’s no way she wouldn’t be appearing in WWE again after being thrilled by her cameo alongside ‘The Rock’ at the recent Wrestlemania 31 event, but despite giving his blessing on that occasion, it appears that UFC President Dana White now wants to shut that door for good.

White was asked by Fight Network’s John Pollock whether he may allow the UFC superstar to compete in a WWE match in the future, and he gave what appears to be a definitive answer.

“What she did on WrestleMania was awesome,” White stated. “It came of great, I loved it. [but] She’s a one and done…One and done.”

Rousey recently signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC, so it’s likely that whatever White says, goes. White and Rousey have had a good relationship so far in her career inside the Octagon though, so perhaps there is room for negotiation there in the future.

If not he risks angering the 28 year-old who essentially has the world at her feet at this point, with a burgeoning Hollywood career (including a role in this years box office mega-hit ‘Fast & Furious 7’ under her belt) also threatening to take her focus off her UFC career.

For the time being though Rousey is concentrating on her upcoming bantamweight title defense against Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in Brazil on August 1st.
