Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 19 Results

For the first time last night Following the 19th edition of Dana White’s Contender Series, all five winners were awarded UFC contracts.

In the main event Joe Selecki choked James Wallace unconscious with a first round guillotine choke to secure his place on the roster.

Prior to that Antonio Trocoli had finished Kenneth Bergh in similarly quick fashion via a neck crank.

The only fight to go to a decision saw Hunter Azure convincingly defeat Christian Ocon by a wide margin and that was enough to ensure he also will be welcomed into the promotion.

There was another first round finish earlier on the card when Maki Pitolo TKO’d Justin Sumter with strikes to the body in just 97 seconds, while opening up the evening, Jonathan Pearce went toe-to-toe with Jacob Rosales and secured a TKO stoppage mid-way through the third round.

“Tonight is what this show is all about,” White said afterwards as he confirmed that all five winners would be receiving UFC contracts. “Tonight is what this show is designed for and the reason I created this show.”
