Jeremy Stephens Vs Doo Ho Choi Headlines UFC Fight Night 124

A featherweight fight between Jeremy Stephens and Doo Ho Choi has now been confirmed as the headliner for UFC Fight Night 124 in St. Louis on January 14th.

Stephens is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Gilbert Melendez back in September that also earned him a ‘Fight Of The Night’ bonus.

That win put an end to a two-fight losing streak against Frankie Edgar and Renato Moicano for the 31-year-old and leaves him ranked No.8 in the 145lb division heading into this fight.

On the other hgand, Choi, aka ‘The Korean Superboy’ is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Cub Swanson that ended a 12-fight winning streak.

Three of those victories had come inside the Octagon against Juan Puig, Sam Sicilia and Thiago Tavares, and so despite his loss he still holds down the No.12 spot in the division.

Stephens Vs Choi leads a card that will also feature Vitor Belfort’s last UFC fight against Uriah Hall, plus Paige VanZant Vs Jessica Rose-Clark and Darren Elkins Vs Michael Johnson.
