Justice Served: Ricardo Mayorga’s Controversial MMA Debut Amended To A No Contest

We recently reported on boxing ‘bad boy’ Ricardo Mayorga’s controversial victory in his MMA debut in Nicaragua earlier this month in which he appeared to end the fight with an illegal knee to the spine of his opponent, Wesley Tiffer.

Well, the good news is that justice has now been served with the Nicaraguan MMA Commission amending his TKO victory to a ‘No Contest’ decision.

Furthermore, Mayorga was also suspended for three months due to the fact he weighed-in 20lbs overweight for the fight.
