Mike Perry KO’s Alex Reyes In First Round At UFC Fight Night 116

Mike Perry made short work of Alex Reyes tonight at UFC fight Night 116, knocking him out in just 79 seconds.

Round One:

Perry thinks about a kick to start and then bails out from it. Oblique kick for Perry. Both men exchange in close and Reyes grazes him with a right hook.

Perry with a knee and then in the clinch he lands a right hand. Reyes pressing Perry against the cage now. Nice elbow strike from Perry, adjusts his position and launches a big knee that lands flush to the face of Reyes and sends him crashing to the canvas for the quick KO finish with 1.19mins on the clock!

Perry is now 4-1 in the UFC and 11-1 for his career overall, with his last two finishes being highlight-reel knockouts, so he should be due a big fight next, and in his post-fight interview he calls out former welterweight champion Robbie Lawler.
