Neil Magny TKO’s Craig White At UFC Fight Night 130

Neil Magny earned a TKO victory over late replacement Craig White tonight at UFC Fight Night 130.

Round One:

Leg kick for White as Magny responds with a punch. Another leg kick for White. High leg kick for Magny now.

They clinch against the cage and it’s White who takes control. He tries for a trip, but magny stays upright. Nice turn from Magny, but then White reverses again. Magny with the body lock and tries to get the takedown, but good balance from White to stay up. For his trouble he then gets an accidental knee to the groin forcing a brief stoppage.

Leg kick for White. Punch lands a apiece. White back into the clinch against the cage. Continued jockey for position here. Magny takes control and lands a knee to the body. White tries for a takedown, but it’s Magny who ends up on top in half-guard. He stands over White, who looks for upkicks.

Magny looking for an entry point, but then decides to just let White stand. White barges forward with straight punches and then straight into the clinch again.

Knee to the body from Magny. Magny reverses and lands a few short punches to the head. A knee upstairs floors White and Magny starts blasting away with ground and pound. White doing his best to survive, but the barrage of blows is overwhelming and that’s it, the referee waves it off. Magny wins by TKO at 4.32mins of the first round!
