It has been announced that a featherweight fight between Doo Ho Choi and Cub Swanson has been added to the UFC 206 card in Toronto.
Both Choi and Swanson are enjoying impressive recent form, with Choi winning all three of his UFC bouts by first round TKOs and Swanson winning his last two.
This fight sees a clash of the new school and the old school, with Choi ranked 13th, regarded as a UFC title prospect coming up against a veteran in Swanson, ranked 5th.
Choi has previously campaigned for this fight, quoted as saying:
“I think it will be a good fight between the two of us, we both always try to knock out our opponents. I like those types of fighters”
“If you could tell the UFC that you also want to fight me, that would be great. I would appreciate it. I want to fight you. I will look forward to seeing you in the octagon.”
Already announced for this card is a light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson.
