Robert Whittaker KO’s Brad Tavares In 44 Seconds At UFC Fight Night 65

Robert Whittaker earned the biggest win of his career tonight at UFC Fight Night 65 as he knocked out Brad Tavares in just 44 seconds.

Round One:

Whittaker with a leg kick to start. Hard one from Tavares now in return. Tavares lands the hard leg kick again and then a jab from Whittaker.

Whittaker lands a big left hook and Tavares is dropped to his butt. He gets straight back up, but the TUF Smashes winner clocks him again with that same left hook and Tavares goes back down to the mat hard. And that’s it, Whittaker has KO’d Tavares in just 44 seconds!

The Australian fans have experienced a few disappointments tonight, but they’ve got plenty to cheer about here.
