TJ Waldburger and Adlan Amagov to Fight at UFC 166

UFCLogoWhite550x190Two young Welterweights are set to fight at UFC 166, with TJ Waldburger vs. Adlan Amagov being added to the UFC 166 undercard.

Both fighters are coming off wins, with Waldburger submitting Nick Catone back in December, while Amagov was victorious in his UFC debut against Chris Spang in April. A second straight win would add give the winner a lot more momentum as they attempt their ascent up the Welterweight rankings.

24-year-old Waldburger (16-7) will be chasing his fifth overall UFC victory in this fight, while Amagov (12-2) will aim to make it two from two when both fighters square off in October. Amagov previously fought in Strikeforce, going 3-1 in that organisation’s Middleweight division before deciding to cut to Welterweight upon being taken on by the UFC.

UFC 166 is set to be held in Houston, Texas, and will be headlined by a Heavyweight championship bout between Junior dos Santos and champion Cain Velasquez.
