The ratings just keep getting worse for the first season of The Ultimate fighter: Live on FX with the audience falling to an all-time low for Friday’s episode.
Just 821,000 viewers tuned in to the show, losing 127,000 viewers from the previouos week to make it the least watched in TUF’s fifteen series history.
The UFC had tried to inject extra interest in the episode by telling fans to tune in for a live announcement on who team coach Urijah Faber would be fighting for the interim bantamweight title at UFC 148 (Renan Barao), but it clearly didn’t have the desired effect.
There’s only a couple of episodes left in the season and all concerned will surely now be happy just to get it over with and regroup for the Fall season of the show which, despite the dismal ratings, is expected to remain on Friday nights.
