UFC 145: Weigh-In Results And Video

The weigh-ins have now taken place for tomorrow night’s UFC 145 event and you can see what all the fighters tipped the scales at below, plus scroll down to watch the full weigh-ins video.

There was certainly plenty of tension between headliners Jon Jones and Rashad Evans in their pre-fight staredown after each man successfully made weight. The two touched foreheads as they glared at each other, but were then seperated before things got out of hand.

Prior to that both fighters had been given loud, but mixed receptions, with Evans getting more cheers than boo’s, while Jones experienced the opposite. The champion in particular appeared to be feeding off the crowd however and appeared to be enjoying the moment, while Evans also appeared animated as he left the stage, beating his chest and gesturing at the crowd.

Elsewhere Ben Rothwell came in at 263lbs, but looked noticably trimmer than usual so clearly he’s been working hard to get in better shape and hopefully we’ll see an improvement in his cardio levels tomorrow night.

The only fighter to miss weight was John Makdessi who came in at 158lbs, 2lbs over the lightweight limit and rather than attempt to cut the additional pounds it was agreed that 25% of his purse will go to his opponent.
