UFC 160: Medical Suspensions List

The medical suspensions resulting from UFC 160 have now been released and show that a handful of the event’s main card fighters face a lengthy spell on the sidelines due to injuries they sustained in the Octagon.

After his KO loss in the co-main event Mark Hunt faces a six month suspension – most likely due to a broken toe he suffered in the first round of the bout.

Glover Teixeira dominated James Te Huna on Saturday night, but it came at the expense of an injured right hand and elbow which potentially could leave him out of action for six months.

Gray Maynard was also handed a 180 day suspension thanks to an injured right eye. Maynard and the other two fighters mentioned above can potentially be cleared earlier by a doctor.

Two prelim fighters, Dennis Bermudez (both feet and right hand) and Brian Bowles (right hand) complete the six month suspension list.
