Following last night’s UFC 183 event in Las Vegas the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors was the main card battle between Thales Leites and Tim Boetsch in which ‘The Barbarian’ got the better of the striking battle before Leites turned the tables by taking him down and locking in an arm triangle submission.
Leites earned $100,000 in bonus money altogether as he was also awarded a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus for his submission victory.
Earning the other ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was Thiago Alves who found himself in a competitive scrap with Jordan Mein before a hard body kick early in the second round that would lead to a TKO stoppage.
