Following this morning’s UFC Fight Night 52 event in Japan the recipients of the $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
A 15 minute preliminary scrap between Kyung Ho Kang and Michinori Tanaka earned ‘Fight Of The Night’ honors, with Kang eventually winning the fight by split decision (29-28, 28-29, 29-28).
As you might expect, Mark Hunt was awarded a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus after he sent Roy Nelson face first onto the canvas with a single punch in the main event.
Finally, Johnny Case also claimed a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award courtesy of a second round guillotine choke submission against Kazuki Tokudome.
