UFC Fight Night 68 TV Ratings

UFC Fight Night 68 was watched by an average of 950,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1 this past Saturday night.

That’s up 137,000 viewers from UFC Fight Night 67: Condit Vs Alves a week earlier on the same channel and stands as the third most watched Fight Night card of the year so far behind UFC Fight Night 61: Mir Vs Bigfoot and UFC Fight Night 59: McGregor Vs Siver.

The peak rating on Saturday night’s card came during the main event with 1.2 million viewers watching Dan Henderson KO Tim Boetsch in just 28 seconds.

The ratings suggest that even at the age of 44, ‘Hendo’ is still able to draw a crowd, and in general it proved to be a thoroughly entertaining, fan-friendly main card with plenty of quick, definitive finishes.

The UFC Fight Night 68 prelims also faired well with 782,000 viewers, up 69,000 from the previous week with a heavyweight encounter between Shawn Jordan and Derrick Lewis topping that end of the card.

Elsewhere in a busy sporting weekeend, World Series Of Fighting 21 drew 203,000 viewers on Friday night over on NBC Sports.

For the most part the WSOF broadcasts have fairly rigidly stuck to around the 200,000 – 250,000 mark during it’s time on the network and this event, headlined by Lance Palmer and Chris Horodecki, didn’t buck the trend.
