Following last night’s UFC Fight Night 73 event in Nashville the recipients of the evening’s $50,000 bonus awards were announced.
Earning ‘Fight of The Night’ honors was the main card battle between Glover Teixeira and Ovince St. Preux which the Brazilian won thanks to his superior grappling ability, finally stopping OSP in the third round by rear-naked choke after wearing him up with ground and pound.
Meanwhile, a ‘Performance Of The Night’ award was scooped up by the always entertaining Amanda Nunes who produced an upset win over Sara McMann, rocking her on the feet with a well placed straight right and then capitalizing on the mat with a rear-naked choke finish.
Also earning a ‘Performance Of The Night’ bonus was Marlon Vera who made an impression on the preliminary card as he controlled his fight with Roman Salazar and provided a slick armbar finish in the second round.
