The UFC Fight Night 82 medical suspensions report shows that four fighters are facing a potential six months on the sidelines due to injuries sustained during their fights on Saturday night in las Vegas.
That includes main event winner Stephen Thompson who was limping on his right leg following his impressive stoppage victory against Johny Hendricks and it turns out that was due to an injured right ankle.
That’s the same injury that also threatens to keep Ovince St. Preux out of action for up to half a year and his injured right ankle was much more apparent during his three round encounter with Rafael ‘Feijao’ as he struggled to put his weight on the injury after a kick landed awkwardly.
Apparently injured ankles were a running theme on this card as defeated co-main event heavyweight fighter Jared Rosholt also injured his left ankle.
Rounding off the six month suspensions was the victorious Diego Rivas who finished his fight with a spectacular flying knee, but it turns out that he injured both his knees at some point during the scrap.
Also of note on the medical report is that the debuting Alex Nicholson suffered both a suspected broken jaw and nose which will keep him out until May at the very earliest.

Noad Lahat: suspended until April 7 with no contact until March 23
Joseph Benavidez: suspended until March 23 with no contact until March 8 for left eyebrow laceration
Alex Nicholson: needs clearance on “bilateral jaw fractures and broken nose by oral maxillofacial doctor or suspended until May 8; minimum suspension until March 23 with no contact until March 8 for left eyelid laceration
Damian Grabovski: suspended until March 23 with no contact until March 8 for laceration on scalp
Sean Spencer: suspended until March 23 with no contact until March 8
