UFC Fight Night 82 Salaries

The basic fighter salaries resulting from Saturday night’s UFC Fight Night 82 event in las Vegas are in and show that the evening’s top earner was veteran heavyweight Roy Nelson who banked $125,000 for his victory in the co-main event.

Nelson was one of five fighters to earn a six figure sum on the night, with Joseph Benavidez next up with a $118,000 payday after his win on the main card.

40 year-old Mike Pyle boosted his bank balance with $106,000, while Ovince Saint Preux was close behind with $102,000.

Despite his loss in the main event, former welterweight champion Johny Hendricks trousered $100,000, while the man who defeated him, Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson only earned $48,000 for his sixth win in a row.
