UFC On FOX 14 event drew an average of 3,049,000 viewers this past Saturday night in on ‘big’ FOX for an overall 1.8 rating.

That surpasses the audience for the previous three ‘UFC On FOX’ shows, but doesn’t outdo the total for the directly comparable UFC On FOX 10 event on January 25th last year which pulled in 3.2 million viewers.

UFC On FOX 14 did however win the night in all key male demographics, and unusually performed particularly strongly amongst males 18-54 with a 2.1 rating (males 18-34 and 18-49 is generally where the UFC performs best).

The event featured a good line-up with a no.1 contender fight between Alexander Gustafsson and Anthony Johnson being backed up by Gegard Mousasi Vs Dan Henderson and Ryan Bader Vs Phil Davis.

However, despite taking place in front of 26,000+ fans in a stadium in Stockholm, Sweden the event was somewhat overshadowed by the two huge UFC pay-per-view events headlined by Jon Jones Vs Daniel Cormier and Anderson Silva Vs Nick Diaz that book-end this months martial arts action.

Elsewhere the prelims produced 607,000 viewers on FOX Sports 1 despite a fairly underwhelming line-up that lacked star power, with a fight between Albert Tumenov and Nico Musoke taking the featured spot on that portion of the card.
