UFC On Fuel TV 7: TV Ratings

UFC on Fuel TV 7 in London, England drew an average of 195,000 viewers during it’s afternoon showing on the channel on Saturday.

That places the show in the middle of the pack as far as ratings go for live events on the channel, though the replay at 8pm underperformed slightly with 116,000 viewers tuning in.

This event featured the first ever title fight on the channel with Renan Barao successfully defending his interim-bantamweight title against Michael McDonald in an entertaining four-round encounter.

A new deal means that Fuel TV will soon be available to Comcast’s 22 million subscribers so that could positively affect the ratings for future live events on the channel, though later this year it is set to be rebranded as ‘FOX Sports 2’ which hopefully will also encourage a larger audience in the longer term.
