Diamonds might be forever, but UFC gold isn’t, or at least that’s what UFC boss Dana White has told Conor McGregor.
The Irish featherweight champion will headline UFC 205 on November 12th as he attempts to become the UFCs first two weight class world champion with a win over lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez.
Should ‘The Notorious One’ fulfil another one of his premonitions, it is thought that he will not hold both straps for long as White made clear on “UFC Tonight” that the Irishman will return one of the belts.

White is quoted as saying:
“If he wins, he’ll hold two belts,”
“Then he’ll decide which one he wants to give back to me. He can’t hold both. He’ll have accomplished this. Then he’ll have to figure out which one he wants to give up. He can’t hold up two divisions.”
With McGregor making his thoughts clear at the UFC 205 press conference, saying “they’re gonna need a ******* army to take them from me”, it looks as though another Conor power battle could be on the cards.
