WSOF 20 Results

WSOF 20 took place last nights and we’ve got all the results for you below.

In the main event middleweight champ David Branch moved into the light-heavyweight finals in style as he tapped out Jesse McElligott with a Von Flue choke early in the second round.

McElligott had stepped up from the prelims to fight Branch on just a days notice after Ronny Markes pulled out due to dehydration and it proved to be too much for him as Branch dominated from start to finish.

In the co-main event Nick Newell got back to winning ways after an unsuccessful title bid last time out, earned a unanimous decision win over Joe Condon (29-28 x3) though he appeared to be running out of gas in the final five minutes which made it closer than it should have been.

Earlier Emmanuel Walo claimed a unanimous decision (29-28 x3) win over Pheonix Jones who was making his debut for the promotion after originally coming to people’s attention after his attempt to become a real-life vigilante super-hero on the streets of Seattle went viral on Youtube.

Rounding off the main card Steve Mocco made short work of Juliano Coutinho with ground and pound in the opening round, while Ozzy Dugulubgov also ended his fight inside the first fight minutes after it emerged that Lucas Montoya had broken his arm resulting in a TKO win.
