War of Dragons is now complete. Alain Ngalani (1-1-1) and Chi Lewis Parry (5-0-1) have signed on to the July 11th event, giving ONE ten exciting fights to list on its foray into East Asia.
Ngalani and Parry last met at ONE FC’s Honor and Glory in May. The fight, however, ended in a no contest when Parry accidentally kicked Ngalani in the groin.
Ngalani will no doubt be looking for redemption in the Republic of China. Though he got off to a great start in his MMA career when he almost kicked the head off of Mahmoud Hassan at ONE FC’s Champions & Warriors, he has not been able to repeat his success in either of his following bouts. War of Dragons will be a chance for him to show the world that his first win was not just a one-time event.
Chi Lewis Parry, on the other hand, will be looking to keep his no-loss streak alive. Up until his last fight with Ngalani, the thirty-year-old Englishman had nothing but finishes on his MMA record. At War of Dragons, he’ll be looking to make sure a loss doesn’t sully his almost perfect career.
War of Dragons is under two weeks away. The event will be airing live from the Taiwan National University Sports Center and will also be aired on Livesport.tv for fans who can’t make it to Taipei. A list of all ten matches can be seen below.
