“War of Dragons” Weigh-in Results

The weigh-in results for War of Dragons are in, and only one fight on the card will not go on as planned. Taiwanese lightweight, Zhang Zheng Jie (better known by his teammates as “Frogman”), will not be competing due to a failed medical test. On his Facebook page, “Frogman” was apologetic and understanding of ONE’s decision to not let him compete, saying he “was really sorry” to his “good friends” and that the “organizers’ decisions today” were necessary to “maintain a certain level [of excellence].”

Replacing Zhang will be TOUGH MMA teammate, Eliot E. Corley II. Corley (1-2-0) is an instructor at the Ximen branch of TOUGH and a graduate of Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.

Zhang’s would-be opponent, Rayner Kinsiong, also ran into some problems. The undefeated Malaysian weighed in heavy when he first hit the scales, and was given one hour to make his set weight of 155 pounds. Luckily for the event organizers and Malaysian fans of ONE, he made weight.
