Adam Fugitt TKO’s Yusaku Kinoshita In 1st Round At UFC Fight Night 218

Adam Fugitt found himself under pressure from Yasaku Kinoshita’s striking early in the first round tonight at UFC Fight Night 218, but used his wrestling to gain some control over the situation and then dropped his opponent with a punch when they went back upright to start a sequence that would end in a TKO victory.

Round One:

Body kick for Fugitt. Head kick attempt from Kinoshita. Leg kicks exchanged. Nice right hook for Kinoshita. Leg kick from Fugitt. Punch for Kinoshita.

Kinoshita aggressive early as he throws more punches in close, but as he comes forward Fugitt lands a jab.

Big head kick from Kinoshita, but Fugitt survives that and then lands a takedown. Kinoshita is able to stand against the cage and lands a nice strike. Fugitt brings him back down, but not for long as Kinoshita rises again.

Nice knee strike from Fugitt as he’s got the back clinch. Another knee lands. Finally Kinoshita breaks free.

Push kick to the body from Fugitt. Now a straight left down the pipe that drops Kinoshita. Kinoshita stands and is greeted by more strikes and Fugitt brings him down.

Fugitt trying to take Fugitt’s back as he turtles up. Kinoshita trying to scramble but unable to get away from Fugitt, who does secure his back and starts to rain down heavy elbows until the ref steps in. Big TKO win for Fugitt at 4.36mins of the first round.
