Charles Jourdain was able to counter Ricardo Ramos’ early wrestling pressure tonight at UFC Fight Night 228 by sinking in a fight-ending rear-naked choke.

Round One:

Solid kick to start from Jourdain. He goes for another to the body kick. Head kick attempt from Ramos and then a kick to the body too.

Jourdain grazing the target witht a right hook attempt. Jourdain steps in with a straight and more behind it. Ramos looking for a takedown and Jourdain countering with a guillotine choke. Ramos brings him down and is off to the side to steer out of trouble from the choke.

Jourdain trying to scramble, but Ramos remains on top. Again Jourdain scrambles and is free for a moment, but then Ramos is on him again to take him down. Jourdain counters again with a guillotine choke and this time it forces Ramos to tap out at 3.12mins of the opening round!
