Conor McGregor Cruelly References Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Dead Father

Conor McGregor Has cruelly referenced Khabib Nurmagomedov’s dead father in a post on social media as he continues to cast himself in a negative light following the broken leg he suffered against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 recently.

McGregor was responding to a previous Twitter post from Khabib, who had been congratulating Poirier on his victory.

“Good always defeats evil,” Khabib had wrote on Poirier back on July 11th. “Very happy for @DustinPoirier. I hope you will get the belt end of the year.”

Apparently, McGregor had only just got around to reading that message yesterday and then lashed out with his own Twitter post.

“So Covid is good and Father is evil,” McGregor wrote in reference to the fact that Nurmagomedov’s father had passed away due to the disease last year.

It was clearly a Tweet too far and sure enough McGregor did delete it soon after, but needless to say he’s been widely criticized for his remark.

However, McGregor wasn’t finished there, and also fired back at his critics for their assessment of his latest defeat.

“Jumping a guillotine is not a takedown,” McGregor wrote in a since-deleted Tweet.

“Absorbing the kick into the leg is not a check.
A doctor stoppage is not a tko.
The game goes on bitches.
Piss ants to me yous all are.
Not even peasants. Piss ants!
Now get to your stationed vlogger cameras you novice bums! #nobodies.”
