Curtis Millender Among 12 Fighters Released From The UFC

The UFC have made some significant cuts to their roster in recent weeks with no less than a dozen fighters all being shown the exit.

Most of the fighters on the list have losing records, including eight who didn’t register a win during their UFC run.

However, two fighter, Curtis Millender and Manny Bermudez had both won three of their five fights in the Octagon.

Millender joined from LFC in early 2018 and got off to a strong start with a trio of victories against Thiago Alves, Max Griffin and Siyar Badadurzada, but he’s since suffered back-to-back losses against Eizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Belal Muhammed, which was enough to see him released.

Meanwhile, it was a similar story for Bermudez, who racked up three submission wins in a row upon his arrival in the UFC against Albert Moraes, Davey Grant and Benito Lopez, but has gone on to lose against Casey Kenney and Charles Rosa.

In addition to these fighters its also worth noting that in the past month Sergio Pettis (9-5) has also left the UFC for Bellator, while Ruslan Magomedov (3-0) has signed for ACA after receiving a lifetime ban from USADA and of course former heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez (12-3) retired and signed for the WWE.
