Donald Cerrone Stays Classy In Defeat After Being TKO’d By Darren Till

Donald Cerrone had a tough evening at UFC Fight Night 118 event in Poland last night, but despite suffering a first round TKO loss to Darren Till in the main event he wasn’t making any excuses.

Instead, ‘Cowboy’ posted a picture of his freshly broken nose and congratulated Till on his impressive showing in the biggest fight of his career to date.

“One hell of a job @darrentill2 safe to say you broke the fuck out my nose 👃!!!” Cerrone wrote on Instagram. “I don’t make excuses nor will I ever. You had a great game plan and executed it perfectly. I did not over look nor take you lightly. So again congratulations.”

Not so long ago Cerrone was on a four-fight winning streak after moving up to welterweight, but things haven’t gone his way in 2017, with the loss to Till being his third in a row, having also came up short against Jorge Masvidal and Robbie Lawler.

The 34-year-old had indicated in the lead-up to this bout that he wanted to fight again one more time before the end of the year, but after suffering both a broken nose and TKO against Till it seems like it may be a better idea to heal up, regroup and come back rejuvinated in 2018.
