Donald Cerrone’s next fight has just been announced and will see him go up against Darren Till in the main event of UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland on October 21st.
Cerrone is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in his career, albeit against two top-rated welterweight talents in former champion Robbie Lawler and Jorge Masvidal.
Prior to that ‘Cowboy’ had compiled a four-fight winning streak at 170lbs though, taking out the likes of Matt Brown, Rick Story, Patrick Cote and Alex Oliveira, so he’ll be confident that it won’t be long until he’s back to winning ways in the Octagon.
Till is perhaps Cerrone’s least known opponent in several years, but it would be a big mistake to underestimate the 24-year-old Englishman, who has marked himself out as a very promising up-and-comer who’s notched up three wins and a draw in the UFC to date.
That includes a unanimous decision victory over Bojan Veličković just this past weekend in Rotterdam, and he’s now been rewarded with by far the biggest fight of his 15-0-1 career to date.
Cerrone Vs Till headlines a card that will also feature Karolina Kowalkiewicz Vs Jodie Esquibel along with Artem Lobov Vs Andre Fili.
