Floyd Mayweather Says Conor McGregor Will Deliberately Price Himself Out of Fight

Boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr has officially announced that he’s no longer retired as he goes all in on an attempt to get UFC superstar Conor McGregor to fight him.

“I’m not ducking or dodging anyone…I’m only coming out of retirement for one person and that’s Conor McGregor,” Mayweather told the Fight Hype site.

However, he’s made it clear that he has no interest in fighting him in anything other than a boxing match.

“I’ve been off for a long period of time, so we just don’t know how this can play out…we cannot mix up the rules and the regulations…he called me out…we have to go by my rules,” he confirmed.

Despite his eagerness to take on ‘The Notorious’, Mayweather also claimed that he doubts whether the Irishman is as eager to fight him as he claims to be.

“This is what Conor McGregor is going to do…what he’s going to do is keeping saying he wants to fight, he wants to fight, I’m scared, I’m scared,” Mayweather stated at a press event in the UK. “Behind the scenes, I truly believe in my heart what he’s going to try and do is bid himself out the fight so he wouldn’t have to fight.”
