Jairzinho Rozenstruik got the better of Junior dos Santos in a competitive fight at UFC 252 tonight that saw him floor the former champion in the second round and then follow-up to secure a TKO victory.
Round One:
Inside leg kick for Dos Santos. Now an outside leg kick for Rozenstruik. Body punch lands for JDS. He goes for it again and Rozenstruik lands a low leg kick in response.
Now an inside leg kick for Rozenstruik as JDS works to the body again. Front kick to the body from Dos Santos.
JDS tries for a head kick, but it’s blocked. Low inside leg kick for JDS. Overhand right from Brazilian, but Rozenstruik also lands.
Dos Santos with a big overhand attempt and then a left hook as Rozenstruik lands on the counter. Leg kick for JDS.

Round Two:
Inside leg kick for Rozenstruik. Rozenstruik barrels forward and lands a couple of swatting punches. Body punch for JDS.
Inside leg kick again for Rozenstruik. Now an outside leg kick for Dos Santos. Back to the body punch for JDS. He lands it again.
Rozenstruik tries for a head kick but it doesn’t connect. JDS with a body punch again. Overhand right for JDS as Rozenstruik lands a kick again.
Jab for JDS. Jab gets through nicely for him. Push kick for the Brazilian now. Hard right hand to the jaw for JDS.
Inside leg kick for Rozenstruik. left hand from Dos Santos. JDS misses a leg kick and Rozenstruik threatens with an uppercut.
Right hand gets through for Rozenstruik. Jab for JDS. Rozenstruik lands a left hand to the chin and then a right hook that floors JDS, who had also landed a hook during that exchange.
JDS on his knees and Rozenstruik blasts him with more left and rights as he tries to stand, with a left hook sitting him back down and then more punches sealing the deal for a TKO finish at 3.47mins of the second round.
