Pereira does a flip to get to the mat in style, but seems to partially lands a knee to the head in the process, which is illegal.
The fight keeps going though and they go back to the feet with Pereira locking in a tight guillotine choke. Potieria taps out and then falls backwards onto the canvas unconscious after Pereira lets go.
There’s some discussion between the officials after the fight, likely about that illegal knee strike from the flip, but Pereira gets away with it as he’s declared the winner via guillotine choke at 54 seconds of the opening round.
