ONE FC Lands U.S. Television Deal With Turner Sports

Fast rising Asian promotion ONE FC has landed a television deal in the U.S. with Turner Sports.

The promotion is believed to have struck a three year deal that will see all 24 of their events in the coming year broadcast across Turner’s platforms, including TNT (likely via tape delay) and B/R Live (streaming).

The announcement comes after ONE FC made several high-profile acquisitions such as signing former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, striking a swap deal to bring former flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson to the promotion in addition to also bringing in Sage Northcutt and welcoming in retired star Miesha Tate as a vice-president.

The aforementioned fighters are all expected to make their debuts in the first quarter of 2019, with the Turner deal getting underway starting with ONE FC’s first event of the year on January 19th.

In addition, Turner are also believed to be developing a new ONE FC reality show with shoulder programming as they look to establish a strong foothold in the United States alongside the other major players like the UFC on ESPN and Bellator on Paramount / DAZN.
