Ronda Rousey Switch To WWE Looks More Likely After This Incident

An often rumored move to the WWE looks even more likely for Ronda Rousey after she and her ‘Four Horsewomen’ teammates Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir were involved in a scripted altercation with some female WWE stars at the Mae Young Classic Tournament yesterday.

The trio had been at the event to cheer on the other member of ‘The Four Horsewomen’, ex-UFC fighter Shayna Baszler, who has been attempting to transition over to the world of pro-wrestling recently.

Baszler won her second round tournament match, and afterwards as Rousey and her crew were being interviewed they were confronted by WWE stars Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch.

After being called out by the wrestlers, Rousey replied, “You name the time, you name the place…Oh, not today? We’re waiting to hear from you.”

The WWE brass have been attempting to lure Rousey into the ring for some time now, even after her slump in the UFC that saw her brutally lose two fights in a row, effectively killing of her hugely successful MMA career.

Rousey has always been a big pro-wrestling fan and has appeared in the WWE before, helping ‘The Rock’ take on Triple-H and Stephanie McMahon at Wrestlemania 31.

At this stage it remains to be seen whether this latest scripted sequence will lead to another one-off match-up like that, or could be the start of Rousey fully transitioning over to the WWE, leaving MMA behind for good.
