Ronda Rousey appeared on the ‘UFC Tonight’ show on FOX Sports 1 last night to give an update on how she’s doing after a recent knee operation and to talk about who and when she’d like to fight next.
Rousey revealed on the show that she’s had three knee operations in the past, but says that after her most recent procedure she’s now got more mobility in her join than she’s had since she was 16 and is now eager to show everyone how she can perform when she’s at 100% healthy instead of ‘”operating on one leg.”
As for when she sees herself getting back into the Octagon, Rousey says that she likes fighting on the holiday shows, so the UFC 182 event that’ll serve as the promotion’s traditional turn of the year event on January 3rd is her current target.
Finally, fans won’t be surprised to hear that Rousey would most like to fight Gina Carano next if a deal can be struck with the MMA star turned Hollywood actress, though she also expressed an interest in fighting new UFC recruit and former boxing world champion Holly Holm, plus No.1 contender Cat Zingano who she was originally supposed to fight last year.
